Terms & Conditions

All pricing is inclusive of GST. Packages are based on the agreed service period noted in your quotation. Any time extending beyond the quoted duration will incur additional staffing and venue hire charges.

MENUS & PRODUCE
Menus are designed around seasonal produce & availability. Substitutions may occur where ingredients are not available, ensuring quality & freshness are maintained.

FINAL NUMBERS & CONFIRMATION
Final guest numbers are required 10 business days prior to your event. The final invoice will be based on these confirmed numbers. Reductions made after this date cannot be refunded.

DEPOSIT & PAYMENT
A deposit is required to secure your booking. Full payment is due 7 days prior to your event unless otherwise agreed in writing. Bookings are not considered confirmed until a deposit has been received.

CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations made within 14 days of the event date may forfeit the deposit & incur additional costs for confirmed staffing, hire, or produce already ordered.

BEVERAGE SERVICE
All beverage service is conducted in accordance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) regulations. Management reserves the right to refuse service to intoxicated guests. Spirits can be arranged on consumption for added flexibility.

STAFFING & SERVICE
Staffing levels are calculated based on the confirmed guest count, event style, & duration. Any increase in guest numbers, service time, or event complexity may incur additional fees.

VENUE ACCESS & SETUP
Access times for setup & pack-down must be pre-arranged with management. Early access or extended use of the venue outside agreed hours will attract additional venue hire fees. Events at The Lawns of Double Bay are subject to council noise restrictions, with music to conclude by 10.30pm & guest departure by 11.00pm unless otherwise approved.

EQUIPMENT & HIRE
All hired equipment — including tables, chairs, glassware, crockery, & cutlery — remains the property of the supplier. The client is responsible for any loss or damage that occurs during the event period.

WEATHER CONTINGENCY
For outdoor functions, a wet weather plan must be arranged in consultation with our team to ensure service continuity in the event of adverse conditions.

MINIMUM SPEND & SURCHARGES
Minimum spend requirements may apply for exclusive venue hire, public holidays, or peak periods. A surcharge may also apply for public holiday events.

LIABILITY
While all care is taken, JE Catering & The Lawns of Double Bay accept no responsibility for loss or damage to personal items or property brought onto the premises.
